Meet Attorney Tzlil Weinstein Managing Partner, Central Branch

Attorney Tzlil Weinstein – Experience, Education and Specialization
Who am I?
I am Attorney Tzlil Weinstein, a managing partner in the firm’s Tel Aviv-Central branch., and specializes in family law and personal status in all its aspects: divorce and annulment proceedings, public records, financial agreements, parenting agreements and cohabitation agreements, custody and residence periods, alimony, property division and dissolution of joint ownership of real estate, estates and wills, guardianship, and civil lawsuits within the family.
I specialize in representing family cases involving property and financial entanglements – complex partnership dissolutions, division of businesses and joint corporations, assets abroad, and property disputes involving large financial amounts – and I bring to these cases experience and tools acquired over years of commercial and civil litigation.
Throughout the process, I keep my clients’ best interests in mind, and work on their behalf with dedication, transparency, and loyalty – in a way that combines creativity with calculated thinking, with the goal of achieving the best and fastest result for them.
education
- Bachelor of Laws with Honors, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem
- Master’s Degree in Criminology with Honors, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem
During my studies, I represented students who were prosecuted before the university’s disciplinary committee, and served as a teaching assistant to Professor Barak Medina (constitutional law) and Professor Miriam Gur-Arie (criminal law). I was also an editorial board member of the legal journal “Laws” of the Faculty of Law at the Hebrew University.
Professional experience
I have been practicing law since 2011, and over the years I have accumulated rich and diverse experience that allows me to provide the best solution for even the most complex family cases – and in particular for cases involving significant financial and property complications: large-scale dissolutions of partnerships, complex holding structures and assets, joint companies and businesses, assets and economic interests outside of Israel, and multi-layered property settlements between spouses.
I began my professional career at the Central District Attorney’s Office. Later, I worked closely with senior and leading lawyers in their fields, in positions that strengthened my ability to handle complex and sensitive cases:
- Alongside Attorney Ofer Bartal and Attorney Dov Gilad Cohen – In the areas of white collar, criminal law and representation of civil servants in disciplinary proceedings (including in the Ministry of Health, the Police and the Ministry of Education). In this framework, I was part of the defense team in the “Holyland” affair – an experience that honed my ability to handle cases of exceptional evidentiary and financial scope.
- Alongside the late Attorney Yossi Segev – In commercial and civil litigation, including family law and estates, in complex cases and with very high financial volumes, also against entities and bodies outside of Israel. From there stems my in-depth familiarity with issues of asset disclosure, valuations, and complex property structures – essential tools in family cases where significant property is at stake.
- Alongside Attorney Ilan Bombach – Civil and administrative litigation in a variety of areas, which gave me broad familiarity with the procedural and evidentiary aspects required in complicated cases.
This accumulated experience – A combination of criminal, civil-commercial and family law backgrounds – is the basis of my professional approach today. It allows me not only to understand the family-emotional aspect of the case, but also to decipher and analyze complex property and business structures, identify hidden or concealed assets, and work in collaboration with accountants and appraisers when the case requires it. This is a significant advantage in representing clients in family cases where the property-economic conflict is the core of the dispute, and not just a derivative of it.
